Organic Genmai Mochi - Whole Grain Rice Cakes - 200g

Arche's organic Genmai Mochi are ideal as a small but delicious dessert or an unusual, salty snack. The small rice cakes are Japanese in origin but are popular worldwide now. Due to their neutral taste, they can be prepared in many ways.

Preparation: Take the two rice cakes out of the packaging. Either use them as they are or roll them out a little thinner and cut out little shapes with cookie cutters. You can then fry the mochi, sear them briefly or bake them in the oven at 170°C until they are crisp. The mochi also rise a little and become fluffier.

Then serve the delicious mochi either as a sweet or savoury treat. For a sweet dessert, roll the mochis in icing sugar and serve with apple sauce. They are also delicious when coated in sesame seeds and soy sauce.
