CITRÓNOVÁ TRÁVA - THAI LEMON GRASS

I am offering for sale Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) in a pot. Lemongrass is familiar to many people in South Asian cuisines, where it is used in bulk. It can be grown in our garden and on the balcony without any problems. We also find it in many perfumes, in cleaning products, which give it a fresh lemon aroma. It is also known as lemongrass, lemongrass, lenabat or sereh.
Properties:
Lemongrass has little in common with citrus fruits, belongs to the family of conifers and is therefore related to bamboo, maize, rice or other cereals,
has long, thin, gray-green leaves that resemble green onions, English scallion, the
name is derived from intense lemon scent of the plant,
it is unique among grasses, it has a pleasant smell but at the same time it does not have the acidity of lemon.
Requirements for cultivation: it
comes from tropical areas, but it can also be grown in our conditions,
it thrives ideally in a container (for an adult plant choose a diameter of at least 20 cm), which you place in the garden or balcony from spring to autumn, in any sunny place ( this guarantees you a high content of essential oils),
lemongrass can also be grown in a container behind a window or in an apartment, on a window sill facing south,
prefers good permeable, loamy-sandy soil,
tolerates copious watering, but does not tolerate watering, so it is more suitable water it when the soil dries,
use good garden soil mixed with organic fertilizer.
