Born 17.10.1914 died 25.9.1979
He came from four children. He was very fond of painting since childhood and devoted his whole life to this hobby. After elementary school, he graduated from an art-industrial school in Brno. He made a living from art works, later worked as an independent entrepreneur. Painter of landscapes, folklore, human figures, also painter of glass and ceramics. After the war, he devoted himself to painting as a freelance profession. He married in 1937
For his native village, Dobeš created an irreplaceable collection of paintings realistically depicting various corners of the village. These works, characterized above all by their colorfulness, are a unique view of the village idyll and comfort of houses, small houses and streets in Morkůvky in the first half of the last century

Pocházel ze čtyř dětí. Již od dětství velmi rád maloval a této zálibě se pak věnoval celý svůj život. Po základní škole absolvoval umělecko-průmyslovou školu v Brně. Živil se výtvarnými pracemi, později pracoval jako samostatný živnostník. Malíř krajiny, folklóru, lidských figurek, také malíř skla a keramiky. Po válce se malování věnoval v rámci svobodného povolání. Oženil se v roce 1937
Pro svou rodnou obec vytvořil Dobeš nenahraditelnou sbírku obrazů realisticky ztvárňujících rozmanitá vesnická zákoutí. Tato díla, vyznačující se především pestrou barevností, jsou jedinečným pohledem na vesnickou idylu a pohodu domků, domečků a uliček v Morkůvkách v první polovině minulého století.
