Le Piantagioni del Caffe - Peru Alto Palomar FTO Espresso 1kg

Alto Palomar Fair Trade Organic is a whole-bean coffee from distant parts of Peru, holding CSC and Fairtrade certificates, roasted by the highly regarded Italian Le Piantagioni del Caffè roaster. 

Coffee with a full body, mild acidity and unusual hints of honey, roasted almonds, and sweet tobacco. The flavour topped with a mild taste of cocoa.

The beans are an investment in the local community. The coffee has been grown by 120 small producers, associated in a single cooperative. The shrubs are protected in the shade of native forests. The entire coffee processing cycle is run in the place of harvest, at the altitude of 1200 - 1800 m above sea level. 100% arabica beans are washed and then dried in an oven.

Origin: Perù, Dept. Junin, Chanchamayo, San Luis de Shuaro District.
