Punjabi Basmati Rice has a light, very fragrant grain. It is grown in the pristine valleys of the Himalayas, where it is watered from glacial waters. It cooks to an airy, nutty aroma.
Preparation:
Use a rice to water ratio of 1: 1.5. Add to lightly salted water, boil for a short period, then cover and cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes.
