Beirabaga Fig Jam

We are a family business that has been dedicated to beekeeping for over a century. With the same passion that moved Grandfather Jorge de Almeida Lima five generations ago. We cultivate and preserve the knowledge and tastes of an ancestral activity, which respects nature and integrates her in perfection.

In 2004 a new project was born with the production of Beirabaga Jams and Almonds, products made in a traditional way, with best-quality Portuguese fruits and using the most modern production techniques.
This fig jam is prepared according to an old recipe developed by nuns in their convents. Free from artificial color and preservatives. The figs are grown in Beira Baixa and Trás-os-Montes, in Portugal, where sunny conditions provide their excellent flavor.
