Dressed Crab

Dressed crab is perfect for anyone who loves the sweet taste of crab meat but prefers not to have to wrestle with a whole crab to get to it. To make it, white and brown meat are extracted from the crab, mixed together and served in the crab’s shell, ready for you to dive straight in.

Our dressed crab is made from Cromer Crabs, which are brown crabs that are caught off the northern coast of Norfolk around the village of Cromer. The chalk shelf and nutrient-rich waters in this region make for a particularly flavoursome, tender and fragrant crab.

Cromer crab is a meaty variety that boasts a relatively high proportion of white to brown meat. Their size varies from 150-180g.
