Wellness Bath

The Wellness Bath provides great bath fun for chinchillas and other rodents.

To care for their fur, chinchillas need to bathe daily in special bathing sand. Therefore, your chinchilla should have a bath tub filled with special sand available for approx. half an hour during the activity phase in the evening. This is the only way to care for its silky smooth coat. Without these baths the coat loses its natural scent, it becomes greasy and sticky or even ragged. The pet enjoys this evening-long pleasure, which cannot be replaced. Aside from caring for its coat, the bath also gives your pet a channel to release tension and frustration. It could even be called “bathing the soul”.
